How We Help
Care Closet LBC
We provide independent opportunities to our unhoused community, giving them a place to build structure, good habits, and teaching them to love and care for the City they live in.
We can’t solve homelessness in Long Beach alone, and that’s not our mission. Instead, we focus on self-reformation and rediscovering the importance of daily consistency. Our mission thrives on volunteerism, caring for the city, personal surroundings, and one’s own life.

Current Goal: 3 Million Pounds of Trash
Since our beginning in December 2019, we have been tirelessly working towards a single, ambitious goal: to clean up 1 million pounds of trash in Long Beach. As of January 2, 2024, we are proud to announce that we have surpassed this milestone, having removed over 2 million pounds of trash.
We’ve done it! Now, we’re setting our sights even higher with a new goal to reach 3 MILLION. Follow us to stay updated on our progress and join us in making Long Beach a cleaner, better place for everyone.

NBC LA: Troubled House Packed with Trash...
In a recent cleanup effort, we extended a helping hand to a Long Beach resident who had tragically lost her elderly father’s home in a fire. The neighborhood on Junipero had become a hotspot for squatters and piles of trash, which had become a nuisance. Our team dedicated 24 hours to get it done, resulting in a remarkable transformation. We removed 40 truckloads, totaling 16 tons of trash. This significant cleanup not only beautified the neighborhood but also contributed to our goal of reaching 3 million pounds of collected trash in 2024.
