City Clean Up
Care Closet LBC’s main program focuses on making Long Beach a cleaner and safer place. Each day, our dedicated team cleans hard-to-reach areas, such as alleys, under bridges, highways, and homeless encampments. We also remove graffiti and collaborate with city sanitation to properly dispose of collected trash. Instead of traditional wages, participants are rewarded with gift cards for daily essentials, fostering a sense of purpose and community involvement. Day-Hab: Coming Soon
We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Day-Hab Program at Care Closet LBC, as we partner with the NHHA. This comprehensive program will provide essential support to the unhoused community, including medical care, mental health services, addiction treatment, life skills training, and more.
